I realized there's no size reference in the photos, they're both 18" x 24" sheets. Finished both of these this weekend. I'm starting to get use to working with charcoal; After a long and difficult few weeks, I've discovered my tool of choice: the foam brush! Makes the subtle gradients much easier to control and is much faster than the blending stump.
